How We Work

Interlink Process

A practical, engineering-led path from first enquiry through controlled production. Interlink aligns design, prototyping, and manufacturing so projects move quickly with fewer downstream surprises.

Step 1

Initial Enquiry

An early dialogue can be a key factor in achieving a successful and cost-effective product. Interlink brings over twenty-five years of design and manufacturing experience across membrane keypads, graphic overlays, and labels.

Whether starting from a detailed drawing, a sample part, or a short concept brief, the team aims to provide an accurate quotation while already applying design support from the outset.

Step 2

Design Approval

Once an order is placed, Interlink begins detailed product design and a deeper technical dialogue. Design approval drawings are always produced and normalized to a standard manufacturing format.

After approval, those drawings become controlled manufacturing documents that follow parts through production.

This can reduce client effort significantly, often requiring only enclosure/display data plus logo or color requirements.

Step 3

Prototype / Development

Simple labels and overlays may not require prototypes, but for more complex membrane keypad and printed-electronics projects, prototyping is often critical.

Interlink offers a “dry-build” approach using project CNC files and production-intent materials to create accurate space models for fit/alignment checks at lower cost.

With mating components provided, Interlink can also perform “cut-to-fit” adjustments to CNC files. Additional lower-cost functional samples without final graphics are available when needed.

Step 4

Production

Interlink manages multiple customized products through tightly controlled documentation and process workflows. ISO 9001 systems support short lead-times across both low and high volume runs.

CNC, digital, and hybrid print capabilities support both prototype efficiency and lean volume manufacturing. Delivery commitments are set pragmatically and then accelerated wherever possible.
