Printer Mark Nicol celebrates 20 years at Calman.

Being a constantly busy company we’re often guilty of only looking ahead. Our focus is on meeting our customer demands. Sometimes though, it pays to look back and recognise what’s been achieved. One of these moments occurred recently when we realised that a key member of our print team had reached 20 years’ service with us.

When Mark joined Calman back in 2002 we were still in our original premises. He remembers the move to our current larger factory shortly after he joined. Mark said “I remember visiting the new premises with the print manager to look around before we moved and I can remember actually setting up and running the print lines while the internal walls were still going up around us.”

Our clients benefit from the experience of the team at Calman and Mark is a great example of that. His colleagues in the print department can boast over 40 years cumulative service with us but they won’t catch up on Mark!
